Prior to each Parent Advisory Council (PAC) meeting, Sequoia hosts Parent University. Parent University is an event facilitated by our school-based clinical staff which lead lively discussions on a variety of topics that will illuminate the intersection of mental health and education. Each 30-minute presentation will highlight contemporary issues particularly relevant to adolescents and the relationship between Sequoia students and parents. These talks will inevitably lead to a constructive exchange of ideas between parents and therapists and provide tremendous benefit to our students.
